Chapter 4

"Sakura. You know..." hinata paused for a bit..."When will you be back? I know we're not really the best friends, however i consider you like that." finally said hinata with one breath.

"I don't know. I'll stay in Akatsuki for a while. And Hinata we are best friends: you, me, Ino, tenten...We are all best friends ! Remember that, and whenever you have something on your heart do not hesitate to tell me ok?"

"Thank you so much Sakura. Talking about this...in Akatsuki...Itachi is still there right?"

"I suppose so. But don't worry. As long as i keep my inner self strong I won't fall in their hands."

"Heh. Then i wish you to take care of you." said hinata shy.

"I will. And Hinata..."

"?"

"Thank you! Will you explain to Ino everything and Tenten too. I didn't have time to tell them."

"Yeah. No problem. Goodbye Sakura. Be careful."

"Goodbye Hinata."

And so the two friends went each their different ways. Sakura was feeling insecure about this journey, but one thing she knew the best. She was gonna find Itachi and ask for answers. And maybe destroy Akatsuki.

One week has passed since Sakura left Konoha without knowing what was gonna await her on her path. She kept thinking again and again about Itachi and...Sasuke...the only kid her age who played with her without any constraints."What am i trying to prove? That those two are still human? We were like a happy family. At least I was the only one who believed that. But one thing i know: that i still love you. Even after all this time I didn't stop thinking about you and about the kindness you gave me. Even though we were still kids i trusted you and put my all faith in you. But you just left leaving me behind. And not only you, your brother too. Was i the only one who was weak? Who couldn't follow you?" Sakura didn't notice as she was thinking that two people passed by her. He kept going her way and thinking about things that she could never find an answer for.

"That fragrance...It couldn't have been her right? What could she do here at a time like this in the middle of the night?"

"What happened?" asked the guy beside.

"Nothing. Let's go on!"

"Hm...I smell cherries."

"No, you don't. Move!"

The two of them continued their way and their plan as if nothing happened, to a point. At least the sharky guy with one the seven legendary swords of the mist. The other one...well, he couldn't stop thinking about that fragrance that passed by him. That was the moment when he figured out...It was Her. Sakura Haruno. The only girl with pink hair and green eyes like the emerald that he once used to see everyday shinning with brilliance and happiness everytime she spended time with him and his brother, Sasuke. That was the moment when they turned away from their supposed way to chase after her.

"Who are you? Well well, pink hair, green eyes. You must be the legendary medic-nin from Konoha right?" asked a man Sakura while glancing at him with thirst. Just when he was about grab her hand, Sakura stood up just like a queen and pierced his eyes with her glare. The door of the bar opened."As far as i know i didn't give you permision to touch me, mister." Then the man froze at the scenery that he had to see. Uchiha Itachi's Genjutsu. It was pure cruelty. He felt as if thousands of needles passed through him provoking a pain that he has never felt in his entire life.

"Don't.Touch.That.Girl!" said Itachi with a low voice.

"This..voice!" Sakura said this as she continuously stayed there stunned look ahead without seeing anything. Only...Uchiha Itachi!
